Researching for Trustee Sale

I ran across a notice for a Trustee Sale that looks too good to be true (700K for >1.4M house). The free trial websites didn't have any loan data that would indicate why the owner would let it go back to the bank at this price. The price is less than lot value and the house is in very good condition with people living in it. It's not listed for Sale either. I'm assuming that there are other liens against it. How do I find out?

Get a Foreclosure Radar subscription. The loan that was to be foreclosed on was for only $754K. There was a second loan as well. I don't know what happened to the sale. I tried to look it up by date, but I don't see any reporting on it.

The foreclosure auction was canceled last week. It could pop up again, as most tend to do, but for now it is canceled.

However, there are plenty in the the Port streets that make me believe there will be more, and this one will be back. And, the assessed value of the land is high, and it will go down, but it will take some time.

How did you find out the information about the auction being canceled? It's not on either Foreclosure Radar or Foreclosure Tracker.

I didn't look, but you might try www.fidelityasap.com and sign up for a free account. It's a bit clunky and doesn't cover all the foreclosures, but is pretty good for a free service.
