If you come acrossed an ad for a rental property that sounds "Too good to be true", it most

likely IS. There is an individual posting properties on Craigslist for things such as a 3 bd 2 ba house

in Irvine for $700 a month. When you inquire, you receive an email from some yahoo that says

they are on a church mission in africa and they just want someone to take care of their lovely

home, BS BS BS. All you have to do is answer a few questions and BAM...its yours. Then, oh ya,

please send $350 for security deposit and keys. Now, I know I would never do this, but I wonder

if there are a few gullible people out there that are actually sending this guy money???? Anyone

know how I can get these people busted? It makes me absolutely sick to see people taking advantage

of other people in desperate times and situations.

Pretty much anything to do with anything out of the country or out of state for that matter is a big no-no.

To be blunt.



If you are dumb enough to fall for this scam...then tough luck.



Common sense (which I realize how scarce a trait that is nowadays) should say to you.... $700 to rent in Irvine, when average rent is like $1500...well that's tooo good to be true.



If it's too good to be true...it must be a scam :)



So I find it funny when people get suckered by brother Indugu from Africa.
