Referrals for Contractors on New Build?

Wondering if anyone knows contractors/services they can recommend for work on a new build. I want to do as many things as I can after market because the builder typically charges far too much.

Specifically, I'll need concrete poured in the patio since new builds always come with just dirt. I'm thinking doing something like stamped concrete would be great because the cement can be designed to look like natural stone.

Also for the patio, I'll need a good landscaper to put some greenery into the picture.

Also I'd like to maybe have a set of cabinets for organization built in the garage and maybe a desk / tech center upstairs.

For shutters and faux wood blinds I'll probably use Shutters King because I've gotten an estimate in the past and they're the cheapest around.

For carpets I'll probably use Costco.

For a urethane coating in the garage, I'll probably use Rustoleum, as I've used them in the past and they did a good job.

Thoughts?

I too would need some advice on poured concrete.. I like to add a step in my garage.. this is the step going into the garage from the house.. right now it is a pretty big drop and probably not up to code.  I'm scared for my knees since I still want to try out for the Lakers next season.  Got a quote for around $200 but will be more if I want to add the support rebar into it.  Any recs?

For blinds, if its not too many, why not do it yourself?  I put up about 10+ blinds in my old condo with what i ordered from Lowes/home depot.

For carpet, Tompkins seems to be the go to guy around here, but my experience with them wasn't that great, but the end result was good and they did give in to my "threw a tantrum" price.

Apparently, from a lot of high praise on the Irvine Real Estate board, Venetian Flooring Systems is a very good company to have work on your flooring. I'll definitely pursue an appointment with them once I've had my first design appointment with Irvine Pacific.
