Recommended preschools in Irvine?

Can anyone suggest a few preschools in Irvine? My wife and I prefer to have our 3 year old attend an academically focused preschool (vs. developmental preschool).

<p>Also, I recommend the ChildTime near Jeffrey and Yale. Ignore how the school looks... the staff is quite good.</p>
