I like old skool hip hop, and picked no_vaseline as a username over at Lassner's OCR blog a couple of years back. Somehow <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Vaseline">it seemed appropriate.</a>
Last October, I hurt my foot while exercising and I can't get it to heal (no, it's not lupus or swine flu), and I accidentally started watching House about the same time. Other than the stuff tmare wrote, I don't suffer fools and usually take a swift, aggressive, and direct approach to issues. When I got to 2000 posts, I changed my avatar (because I was bored) and House seemed appropriate. Later, I switched to a little white Maltise puppy for a while, but when Skippy showed up it seemed appropriate to retire it. When he left, I stumbled across my current avatar and found it to be funny and more importantly - it looked good when I scaled it down to 100x100.
To recap: I'm not a doctor, hiphop artist, nor am I english, I'm not black, and I look nothing like Hugh Laurie. My foot does hurt. I don't like being the big meanie but I'll do it. I love combing arcane data, in an effort to find real answers to complex problems. My avatar looks HOT tho!
