Possible Package Theft in West Irvine

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
"Palusso was awaiting a court date in that case when he was arrested Wednesday, police said."

Haha, that's the best part of the article in my opinion.  At least he's persistent.

This guy was busy.  PP owners say it's the same guy stealing packages here as well:

Anyone know how to check updated status on this guy?  Sentencing, trial, etc?

I used to go to occourts.com and could search by name but now you have to pay for the searches.  Must be another way to find this public record online.  Just wondering if he's already out or awaiting trial.

Given the rise of Amazon/online shopping, you will see many more package thieves going forward. Consider using Amazon Locker, rent a private mailbox at a Mail Boxes Etc, or install a video camera for your home entrance.

I would lose a $50 package once in a while than dealing with a useless gate that costs everyone $200 to $300 extra each month.

It is all about perception in resale--privacy, prestige, security etc. Guard gated communities will carry a higher resale premium vs their non guard gated counterparts.

Having said that--gated communities are still victims of theft.
