Portola Spgs, Ladera, Talega?

<p>I have been looking around to buy by this time next year. I have talked to a buddy at work and he told me that these are the best areas to move to. Is this true? I was reading some blogs on here that Ladera Ranch is in pretty bad shape, but I drove thru there last weekend, and it was pretty nice. Portola looks too new, will they even finish all the homes there with this market? And Talega? seems a distance, right? </p>

<p>I work in Mission Viejo and am looking for an nice, new family community. Any thoughts?</p>

If you are looking to buy, there are no nice communities right now. They will all decline in value. The further they are from the coast, and the further they are from LA, the worse the drop will be.





Obviously, we at this blog are partial to Irvine. There really aren't any bad neighborhoods, but some are more desirable than others. Which ones is often a matter of personal taste.
