Any one knows where Portola High school will stand compared to other High schools. It would be brand new so can one imagine it would have state of the art facilities, hence maybe it would be one of the best? Or maybe not

What about it's location being v close to Lake forest
 
Clearly it's location and proximity to lake forest will ensure that the portola high is the worst performing high school in irvine.

Dear Darwin - please hurry and take this one out.
 
I agree with Qwerty.  With it's location and proximity close to Lake Forest, Jail, and a Cemetery it's going to be the worse performing school in Irvine.. if you even consider that part "Irvine"...

I though that where all the American live and you guys make it sound like it"s Santa Ana or Compton.

Agreed.  Portola High definitely won't resemble Tustin High...

Seriously though, with the exception of University High, there is an inverse relationship between high school age and academic performance.

Irvine < Woodbridge < Northwood <= Beckman (excluding Hispanic students)
