With Orchard Hills opening tomorrow, I am curious about the interest level about the grand opening and each individual model.

For me, I picked the "I am going but just for the food" option.

Not interested.

1. I don't like the location.
2. I don't like the prices.
3. No 3CWG.
4. No vaulted ceilings (ps9 infection).
5. No multiple living areas at the price I want to pay.
6. Lots are too big. (just kidding)

Interested.

Not to live in but as an investment.  After seeing what happened in Laguna Altura this may be the same result here at OH but with the view lots.

wonder if all the early phases are sold out like Amelia/Trevi, lots of competition between KB/Taylor/Tri-pointe in the middle of the pack.  we'll be stopping by to check out the free entertainment/food.  scared to walk into Trevi:

might get into a buying frenzy and empty our retirement accounts to buy here!

NYT mentioned in his earlier blog that early phases for Amelia/Trevi are sold out.  He said these homes were stunning.  We'll see..=)

I think it's the advertising...this is the pic on the Trevi webpage.  I mean, don't you want to be this couple?

Amelia has a wood vaulted ceiling in the Plan 3 great room.

I'm a 99%er... I can't even afford the lower gated models much less the higher ones.

Don't be afraid of buying frenzy, the trend is your friend.  And if Trevi goes up to like LA, its is your retirement account.  And if it didn't, at least you'll have a nice big house to live in. :)
