Here's a Pic of me and the Missus just finishing off the Christmas Shopping this morning, I'm glad it's all over, I hate taking Her shopping, all She does is complain!!

Peter, good thinking keeping the poor lass sheltered from both the rain and the wind. A true credit to the chivalrous everywhere.



Also, I couldn't help but notice it looks like someone else is going to get the dreaded Holiday 5-pack this season.
 
She even complains when we go Camping, I'm constantly reminding Her how expensive a good Mountain Bike is and how hard she worked at that second job to buy it for me..I have to take good care of it...

Crap... Went to put together a Big Wheel / Trike for my youngest and the good folks at Fisher-Price evidently ran out of seats the day they package this one up. It's quite hard to ride and pedal your first trike with NO FRIGGIN' SEAT TO SIT ON! Guess I have to go scouring around for it retail, extract that seat from that one, and then return the new purchase to Amazon. What a pain in the butt...
 
We're still not done... been moving for the last 5 days and barely any time for shopping.



So what's the hot toy this year? All I know is that we had to go to a Target in San Pedro to hunt down a toy for one of my Munchkins... TV commercials are evil.

<a href="http://www.bakugan.com/en/products/starter_pack.html">Bakugan Battle Brawlers</a> have got to be the hottest thing... As soon as they hit the shelves, people scoop 'em up.
 
Ahh yeah... Bakugan... luckily... mini-IHO isn't into that stuff... yet.



Other than that, there doesn't really seem to be any super-hot item. Even Wiis seem to be more readily available this year (although the Wii Fits are difficult to find).



For the older crowd, last year's "toy" seemed to be the GPS units... don't know about this year... maybe LCD TVs (those things are cheap now) or BluRay players?

I'm wondering how GPS sales are doing this year, let's face it, People used to use them when they traveled on vacation, Reps would use them to find Customers, Realtors used them to visit Houses, Mortgage Brokers used them to take paperwork to Client locations...etc etc



Nobody is doing any of that stuff anymore, so who the hell buys them? Car repo men could be one type of Customer I suppose???
