Located in the Zion Supermarket Plaza in HG, excellent $14.99 all you can eat Korean BBQ special, good table-side service. About half a dozen choices for AYCE meats, the beef brisket and marinated pork is very good. Come on an empty stomach.

Sounds yummy! We should have an IHB outing here.

I created the thread in the Other Topic Bix for next weekend, hope you can make it.

I think you could post dining events in the food forum. ^_^

There are actually several inexpensive all you can eat Korean BBQ places near HG area. In Lakewood, Ma Dang Se offers $9.99 all you can eat Beef brisket, pork belly, and squid:

Ma Dang Sae

21004 Pioneer Blvd

Lakewood, CA 90715

(562) 860-7000

<a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/ma-dang-sae-lakewood">http://www.yelp.com/biz/ma-dang-sae-lakewood</a>

In La Palma, there's Hawang So Go Jip, which is also $9.99 all you can eat. I heard rumors that the price was raised to $12 but cannot verify, since I opted to go to Pal Gak Jung last week instead:

Hwang So Go Jip

4991 La Palma Ave

La Palma, CA 90623

Basically, you get what you paid for. Pal Gak Jung is more expensive, but service and meat quality/selection is far better.

For non-AYCE Korean BBQ in that area, I prefer Corner Place in Cerritos, which is very close to the Cerritos mall:

Corner Place

19100 Gridley Rd

Cerritos, CA 90703

(562) 402-8578

<a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/corner-place-cerritos">http://www.yelp.com/biz/corner-place-cerritos</a>

It's a lot better than the "Garden Buffet" places on South St. nearby.

I gradated from Artesia High School in Lakewood, so am fairly familiar with the area. My family either worked in or owned at least 3 restaurants in Cerritos area from 1980's-1990's. If anyone has any questions about East Asian restaurants up and down Pioneer Blvd from Artesia to HG, feel free to ask.
