Was wondering if Northwood Montessori is a good preschool. Saw some bad reviews. Their lunch menu looks unhealthy. Any thoughts from parents who have sent or sending kids there would be appreciated.
Director will point our every mistake you make. Toured the place twice, never walked out with a warm feeling. Of course that's just my experience. YMMV.
If you're on the wait list, good luck but prepared to be scrutinized.
We toured it like a week ago. Long waiting list and place seemed nice. They are doing some new construction and they have a new director there (or at least she said she was new). She was nice but really wasn't impressive in terms of the tour and knowing what is taught, etc. That is probably because she is new, but she used to be a teacher for one of the sister schools and I presume curriculum, etc, is all the same.

Also, below is a link to another thread that I started recently with an overall question regarding recommended preschools in Irvine. Thought you might find some of the info people had in there helpful as well. http://www.talkirvine.com/index.php/topic,12091.0.html
