Newport Coast is not immune

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
The first foreclosure went up for sale in my community this week. There was a nice sign placed out front "Bank Owned." Too bad they still want 729K for a two bedroom condo! My husband and I live in this same unit, not worth a penny more than 550K. A crazy guy in our complex just posted his condo for sale with less square footage and a detached garage for 775K. I am in awe...he has moved from koolaid to the crack pipe! Do I have to make a trip to the courthouse in order to look up his sales history? I am really curious what possessed him to do such a thing, besides his sense of entitlement...and the crack of course.

Freebasing Kool-Aid is bad um... kay...

But, it looks like there will be two more bank owned properties in NC soon enough. Oh... and, two in Irvine, including one at the North Korea towers too.

Daniel Sadek... meet Karma, Karma can be a bitch.

Thanks for the link. Wow, what an incredible story. This guy was on top of the mountain a few years ago now buried under a pile of debt with no end in sight. Still not sure how he convinced the Oakley guy to give him the $7.5M

Karma is even worse when it looked like this. Daniel losing his homes his cars. An lets not forget this as well. Nadia Bjorlin.

T!m,

It is in The Summit, a community at the top of San Joaquin Hills on Newport Ridge Drive. Great community, but I think the swimming pool is filled with koolaid.

Okay, thanks! I run by there every morning. That is the community I think I would like to buy into in a couple years. My wife and I rent in the Newport Ridge apts right now, waiting for prices to come down.

That's funny, I run everyday around that area...I bet we pass each other often. Look for a crazy lady pushing her jogging stroller up San Joaquin Hills, the one that doesn't have perfectly placed hair and matching running attire.

Okay, you will know me by my short-sleeve T-shirt on top of a long-sleeve T-shirt to protect from the chill. I don't usually match either. I just bought gloves. Before that, to keep my hands warm, I was pulling my them into the long sleeves. This may be too old-school for Newport! I run down San Joaquin and then curse as I try to run back up. I alternate that with doing the same behavior on Newport Coast towards PCH and back.

Some of the wishing prices in Newport Coast are even more obnoxious than 92603. Lost of entitlement comes with an ocean view. Back when I had one, I though I was pretty great too.
