Newbie with a question

I have been visiting this excellent site recently and have finaly signed up to ask a question.

I work close the the Spectrum and am currently renting, I would realy like to buy a Condo and am ready to do so, after reading the blogs etc here it seems like a horrible decision. I guess I'm asking for some moe good reasons to continue renting. I'd appreciate any comments good or bad. Thanks in advance ;-)

<p>I would recommend searching the forums here and to get an idea of what we think. IrvineRenter has all of his great thoughts <a href="http://forums.irvinehousingblog.com/discussion/380/please-be-nice-to-the-newbies">here</a>. I keep an eye on the <a href="http://forums.irvinehousingblog.com/discussion/346/5/foreclosure-and-distressed-property-topics/">foreclosure market.</a> I can tell you it is not pretty and in fact is becoming the worst we have seen in 20 years. Make sure you read my last comment in that thread because no one is even buying the foreclosures. </p>
