Need Recommendation for Auto Body Repair Work

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Got into my first accident here in California.

Was making a left turn at the intersection when the big silveradoe hit me at the left side of my car. near my rear left tire.

The guy wants to do it out of pocket.

I took it to Fletcher Jones for an estimate, and was wondering if anyone have any good bodyshop that they can recommend around Irvine?

I read somewhere that Coast in costa mesa was good, but they don't do body work, when i ask the guy to recommend someone he can't name any, the one person he would have recommended left.

anyways, I drive a 1995 mercedes e320, if that info helps.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

That's what I was thinking T!m !

However, I got rear ended a few years ago. Totally not my fault, but you betcha....my rates went up the next renewal period. I can see the desire to steer clear of the insurance route.

I don't trust that the person will pay. He wanted to handle it outside the insurance.

So, if he doesn't pay, i'm calling the insurance.

It was 100% his fault. I called the police and the police didn't want to come. Under the law u just exchange insurance information and let the insurance handle it, if the car is still drivable and no one is hurt.

GRR!!! I could smell the alcohol from the guy too.

sigh.

Thanks all for the info and recommendations.

I found 2 around construction circle. McLaren & Fix Auto.

Fletcher Jones is top notch.

Prestige on Via Fabricante off Alicia in Mission Viejo is excelent.

Solsby's in Yorba Linda.

Blake and Nation in Orange.

Quigley Auto Body in Lake Forrest/Foothill Ranch.

I think Anahiem Hills is a good shop.

I can think of 25 or 30 other body shops that I know of, and I can't suggust a one of them. Also, I would ask him to give you a cashiers check for the estimate RIGHT NOW, and if he balks/bluffs/hesistates one bit, call his insurance company immediately.

I second Prestige. I will never go to anyone but them from now on. They do it right, and they will fix other mistakes they find. I have never heard anyone complain about them, and I think that is why they are so damn busy.

I have had a mixed experience with Solesbee in Yorba Linda. One was good, and one not so good, but I have a t-shirt from them.
