Need a Handyman

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Was looking up the same thing yesterday on Yelp!, however I got a referral to the same person from two Realtors. He's in Coto, but might come to Irvine.

Gary Baca
(949) 350-5880.

The other referral is someone I've not spoken to but the referring Agent is someone I absolutely trust.

John Linder
(949) 697-7125.

I'm looking for someone to touch up paint in my house - hopefully this weekend. Any recommendations? Should I consider DIY?

Invite SoCal over for a "house warming party". When she comes in and hands you some baked home goods, you can hand her a paint brush.  ;)

What sq. ft do you need painted?  Do you already have the necessary tools like brushes, pans, trays, etc?

I can't stand painting.  When I am that close and personal to the wall, I can't help but look at all the imperfections and brush strokes that I can see.  If an area is a little lighter or off colored, it bothers me tremendously and I can't help but stare at it all the time.

If someone else paints something, I hardly notice or care, haha.

(to be fair: the OCD only really affects me for about a week and then I get over it,haha)

It's really just touch-up I hope. I have the original paint from when the home was built about 2 years ago. Hopefully I can still use it and just touch up the marks on the walls.

I don't have brushes, pans or trays - just what's left of the original paint.

Is the paint still good?  If not sealed properly and stored in garage, make sure... Shake it up well before opening.. It's gonna stink too.

Target sells drywall repair kit for like $10.  Comes with sandpaper, drydex, spatula.  If it's a few holes in the wall, should
be DIY.  Especially if the original paint is still good

I did some work in my bathroom and had to repaint it before I sold my old house.

I took a execto knife, made a little cutout of the original paint.  Took it to Lowe's and they used their fancy little computer and gave me a small bucket of the EXACT color that's on my wall.

I was very impressed by all this tech stuff in the paint department.

Hi anybody have a recommendation for a HandyMan in Tustin? Try call the guys that was recommended on this thread but they said they don't drive up to Tustin.

I basically just want some drywall repaired/holes patched up( put in holes for TV wall mount) and some paint touch up.

Thanks in advance ! :)

There's a guy that specializes in Drywall Repair nicknamed "Mr Acoustic".  His real name is Jack.

He repaired my ceiling and did a great job - looked good as new.

Number is 714-404-8167.  I used him like 2 years ago and haven't contacted him since so not sure if he's still around but worth a try.
