Please help me

I am currently work with an agent to purchase a home which I will use all my saving to buy this home.

i make a deposite check to escrow 3000 now it is in broker trust acct. some how i got an offer and under processing of paperwork. I just received a sign disclosure from the bank and they gave me 5 days of contingency period. they just start to open escrow days. My concern is that. I went to the city and found out that the house which i want to buy has a no permit on one of the addtional room. I worry that in the future the city want me to demolished it. because it is a BUY AS IS. I don?t want to spent extra on other cost. Therefore i want to cancell this purchase. I talk with my agent he pursade me not to give up and that i should think about it. Well, i make up mind not to take this home. he told me if i want to cancell i have to sign a CONTRACT with him that i would not use other agent accept him. Which i think it is non sencse. To be honest he is not trust worhty and sneaky and that he is giving me a run around at the begining of the process until now, I don?t like his service,. Now that he is not willing to help me cancell this home unless i agree to stuck with him forever. that is illegal that he force me to do this. I will lost my deposit

I feel he care about making his commission more than protect my money.

Can some one help me advise what i should do. I need the answer .

thank you

First thing you need to do is refrain from posting the same post in two different sections and starting two different threads. It makes you appear to be as shifty as your agent.

Cancel the sale and do not sign the Buyer/Broker agreement. You don't have to sign it unless they have a gun pointed at you and I doubt they do. If he/she gives you any problem with the cancellation call the broker.

Take a deep breath and try to be straight forward with the communications.

good luck
