<p>Looks like this agent/buyer purchased quite a number of homes in a short period of time and is currently foreclosing on 4 of the properties. </p>

<p>444 Ponce, Placentia, 11/05</p>

<p>920 Bastanchury, Placentia 12/05</p>

<p>10243 Cord, Downey, 9/06</p>

<p>249 Blanquita, Placentia, 9/06</p>

<p>424 Purdy, Placentia, 10/06</p>

<p>2012 Tweed, Placentia, 9/06</p>

<p>1026 Malibu, Brea, 9/06</p>

<p>938 Silver Star, Anaheim Hills, 10/06</p>

<p>Additionally, 2 homes sold to the same buyer, could be fraud there as well.</p>

<p>Good catch as that is part of the same group at <a href="http://www.irvinehousingblog.com/2007/03/19/the-plot-thickens-in-fraud-park/">Fraud Park</a>. If that is all with the same group that is a lot of homes. I know that 47 Middlebury 92620 and 81 Sorenson 92602 went back to the bank today that this group was involved in. </p>

<p>From one source I use there were 63 foreclosures scheduled today. Only 10 were cancelled, 20 went back to the bank, 1 sold and that means that 22 were postponed.</p>
 
What does it mean when a scheduled foreclosure gets cancelled? Did the debtor come up with the moolah? And if so, do they have to come up with all of it, or just enough to become current?
 
<p>awgee - Cancelled can mean a variety of things but the main one is what you mentioned is they came up with the moolah. In theory they could refinance but once you have a NTS I doubt lenders these days would touch it. Hard money can help but there has to be a lot of equity. They could also sell it and last but not least they may have worked out a loan mod with the lender. </p>
