The Meat House, a New England-based chain of "modern revival" neighborhood butcher shops, will open its first California store Monday in Costa Mesa.
The 7-year-old butcher chain promises to dazzle meat lovers with "a host of fresh marinated meats (known as Meat House 'Legendary Marinades'), dry-aged beef, stuffed items and other assorted roasts, steaks and poultry," say company representatives.
Other items sold at the store include artisan breads and cheeses, cold cuts, salads, baked goods, pastas, produce, wine and craft beer.
