I guess the owners anticipate a potential buyer will have enough vision to take a chance on this one.

[quote author="awgee" date=1213490301]Huh? 7 bedrooms in 2800 sq. ft.? Sounds more like a remuddle than a remodel.</blockquote>

All on one level with that number of bedrooms in the middle of MV smells like a senior care center to me. Anyone else thinking that these will become more prevalent with the boomers getting on in years? Or maybe that's just me, with my father getting his second hip replaced this week. (btw, he puts me to shame and still bikes to work up two nasty hills, PeterUK!)

What a ridiculous price. Land value only minus the cost of a complete tear-down. 1968's plumbing and electrical being salvaged?

This lot with debris is worth at least $600,ooo under the current asking price.

Idiots.

Yes, I do believe we will all be seeing more of the senior care homes in the future. The "requirements" are usually a larger one-story home in a non-Association neighborhood. After I moved out of my parent's home in North Tustin, the home next door to my Dad became a care home. They had to do some remodeling to add an exit to each room. They were actually very good and quiet neighbors (we never saw the folks), but the problem was the traffic generated by the visitors on some days. The business lasted for about five or six years. THe house was left in very poor condition.
