Median Single Family Home price in Laguna Beach down to $985K

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Finally a post on the OC board and I don't really have anything to contribute.  The high end market is finally starting to drop a bit. I think thats all it means.  And we already knew that.  I mean Laguna Beach is very nice but it does have downsides - its not nearly as comfortable a commute as the nice parts of tustin and orange and CM - which you trade for the beach.    I have family that lives in an awesome house there and friends who would consider it their 'dream' area - but I don't like driving on hills very much.

Er.  I guess what I'm saying is that housing is not only regional, its VERY regional.  The market for Laguna Beach and the market for similarly priced Irvine homes is  different and I'm sure htats true for all high end areas.    Soemone could probably do some nice trending graphs though, with these various zip codes and see what the high end looks like overall.  I just wouldn't extrapolate anything from just one area.
