Maricopa vs Mendocino

The lot is bigger? Closer to Shopping center? What else?

Maricopa has a few plan 2 left. I may consider it.
 
I think this has been discussed a lot in previous threads, but here are my takes.  Maricopa plan 2 is going to be about 100ish sq ft bigger than the biggest option over at Mendocino...but with the way the space is set up, it feels considerably larger than that.  I'm not sure if you have the option still, but with the plan 2 you can set up the downstairs to be a suite and a powder room, which is a great option if you have parents or other family/friends visiting from the homeland.  Lot sizes are marginally bigger and the community doesn't feel so compact and congested the way that Mendocino does.  That said, a maricopa 2 is going to be almost 100k more than a mendocino 2x (the mendocino floorplan that I dislike the least)
 
Yeah, not sure how keen I would be to pay an additional $100k to get another 100sf.  Maricopa homes do have a slightly larger lot size along with slightly bigger side setbacks.  In terms of distance to Woodbury Town Center, Maricopa is a little bit closer but not by much.
