What do you guys think? Maricopa plan 2 runs up to $866K, same price for The Field of $860K.

The field is bigger, real SFH, But Maricopa has the "REAL" appeal of a house: Location?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by your description of the differences between Maricopa and the Field.  They're both real SFR with private driveways.  There's a ton of discussion on the location of LR in the Lambert Ranch thread, peruse that thread at your leisure.  Also, prices will most likely be going up for each phase at LR, so the number you quoted might not be available if you decide to buy there, but the price is offset some by the lack of mello roos.  I don't know what your timeframe is to buy, but there's a fairly lengthy wait list for all the homes at LR.  Maybe a bunch of potential buyers will drop off, but who knows.  They both have their pros and cons.

If it was me and I was leaving the country soon, I would just rent.

The sales agent at maricopa said the last phase of homes are pretty much spoken for. If you're not already on their pre-qual list, your only choices are a few random plan 2's in the past phases.

I don't believe TIC agents.
They're probably just past the halfway mark for Maricopa.
It'll be at least next spring before they sell out.
Especially with all those other new homes to be built next year.

That's what I thought too. I am not worrying about the inventory at all. Seems like we have plenty of supply of new homes.
