Just was wondering if anyone has good low cost Homeowners insurance and/or car insurance that they recommend.

Ameriprise (Formerly AMEX) through Costco has saved me and many of my friends major dollars.

I think you can still get a quote via the costco website without membership.

Allstate was almost 1/2 price of AAA for my vehicles.. Insurance and Unbrella were reasonably priced..

I own a Farmers Agency in Costa Mesa and we are very competitive in Irvine!

Especially if you combine your auto insurance since you would receive a multi-policy discount off both policies.

Please give me a call or e-mail me and I would be happy to discuss all your options.

I use Wawanesa for two cars and my home and they have been great. They were the cheapest out there when I was shopping for insurance and their customer service is great. I unfortunately had an accident recently and they had my car fixed up and a check sent within days.

I also recommend Wawanesa Insurance use them for car and home. Been with them almost 15 years. Great service and prices. Had 20th Century, AAA, Allstate, State Farm but stuck with Wawanesa. Can pay online via checking account.

But you need excellent credit scores and hopefully no issues with your home on CLUE report.

To get an written quote. They don't do quotes online or over the phone.

I'm giving another vote of confidence to Wawanesa... prices lower than anyone out there except maybe Mercury (and only by a little), great customer service by web reputation and by personal experience, and easy online payments. Have used them for my four cars for about 10 years and they didn't even blink at insuring my Maserati (and at a super-low rate to boot). They paid for a claim I had years ago almost instantly and without any hassle. Also use them for homeowner's insurance, and they are one of the few companies that offer reasonably priced earthquake insurance in CA.

I had Wawanesa for my home and auto for years & very happy, but when I moved they would not insure my new home b/c they said it is too close to a fire area.

So now I went with Century National for homes and Geico for auto/umbrella. I know you must think geico is really expensive, but honestly it is only $150 more than my Wawanesa was per year (even with my long time customer discount) and they offer the umbrella which Wawa doesnt offer.

It's renewal time and I thought I would ask this forum for some ideas. It's hard to pick a company, so referrals are always best.

Thanks for the feedback!
