Looking for a local source for "Ollas", if anyone knows where I can get them.  The shipping on these is quite expensive.

In short, unless if we get a lot more rain this year, expect more restrictions on water use in 2016-2017.  Looking to buy a few ollas jars for my raised veggie garden.  If not avail locally then I'd have to make my own to save money.  X_X

OK, after failing to find a local source, I drove all the way to Pasadena to pick up a few 1 gallon ollas jars for my 4'x4' raised planters:http://www.urbanhomesteadsupply.com/

They were not cheap at $27 ea, but shipping from elsewhere is even more expensive.  X_X

If you're unfamiliar with the Dervaes family, here's a video:

See 6:50 at the video for clay pot irrigation with ollas.  If you want to buy stuff from them and pick up in-person, e-mail first to make arrangements, since this is their home and not a retail store.
