Wondering if anyone of you are a member at Lifetime in Irvine? Apparently the Irvine location opened on March 10th, 2023 and it is huge, sort of looks like an airport from the outside. Since I had LT membership back at home I was able to workout here. I was pretty impressed with the luxury fitness experience. I felt like working out in Beverly Hills.

This was built in the 90s - Sporting Club at Lakeshore Towers. I was a member until we moved to the east coast for my job. Best gym ever. Great memories of evenings spent playing really competitive hoops there.

Pull ups are the center of my fitness regime. I do -100/week. Upper body has never been stronger. I do leg press with 3 plates for lower body 2X/week and ab roller sets of 30 for core. Run 2-5 mi/week on treadmill and do 2-3 20 minute sauna sessions. I meditate in the sauna. I prefer mornings.

I have sex 5-6 times a week for cardio. 30-40 minutes sessions of just fast movements. This is the number one preventative for cardiovascular disease :)

As an active tennis player (4.5), I never really understood the popularity of Pickleball. The game seems so slow and boring. My Lifetime in Johns Creek converted half the basketball courts to brand new pickle balls courts, but I noticed the LT in Irvine doesn't have one. For those of you who are active PIckleball players, what do you like about the game?

Just curious.. for those who have fitness memberships, where do you go and how much is your month membership fee?

The Lifetime in Irvine was $329/month about 3 times more than what I pay in Johns Creek for a signauture membership. The LT in Irvine was definitley newer and nicer, but I felt that space could been have used better. For example I felt that the steam room, sauna, whirl pool, were really small, with only one outdoor pool, which didn't seem to maintained to be super clean to swim in. The LT in Johns Creek has two steams room, two whirl pools, two large pools both indoor and outdoors, two water slides for the kids outdoors. The fitness classes at the LT Johns Creek location are pretty amazing with very gifted inspirational fitness instructors.

The Lifetime in Irvine had really nice luxury lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash with a really nice scent that Lifetime in Johns Creek didn't have. The lotion was so nice that I to place an order on ebay once I got back to Johns Creek. :)

You're a tennis guy, of course PB seems slow.

It's more the doubles aspect and that players of all ages/health can be decent at it. It's a social sport.

I've only played a few times but it's fun. Then again I also like volleyball and ping pong but I don't like tennis.

Easier on my knees than basketball.

I also love to play Volleyball and Table Tennis. I didn't know if you knew, but I was a starting setter for my high school Varsity Team. It still amazes me that Georgia still doesn't recognize Volleyball as a Varsity sport for boys. What's up Georgia??? Get with the Program like the rest of the country.

This is why UCLA has a Men's Volleyball team while Georgia Tech and UGA doesn't.
