spicy fried

Filipino fast food.. the fried chicken is the star here... go half half on the spicy and regular... goes well with the Miki House Special..careful in the parking lot... lot of shady characters round here...mostly men with toothpicks in their mouths.

Try the Jollibee in Cerritos, though I can't guarantee that the food is better.  Chicken joy does come with steamed rice and gravy, Pinoy style.  @_@

The franchise is very profitable in the Philippines, but the cost of buying a franchise today is ridiculously high.  I was asked if I wanted to chip in to invest in opening one in Mauban, Quezon in 2007.  But I think the franchise wanted something like a million dollars and we just barfed.  I got on a plane and went to um...  Boracay.

I went to Jollibee many years ago in the Bay Area. I think it was in Fremont. It's funny that I don't really remember the food, but I do remember that I'd never felt so tall in my life, as I did among the patrons of Jollibee!
