btw, How far is Johns Creek from Forsyth County?

"A man armed with explosives and an assault rifle might have entered a north Georgia courthouse Friday if not for a deputy who was wounded in the shootout with the gunman, Forsyth County Sheriff Duane Piper said".

The new gun law in Georgia lets people pack guns. You can bring a gun to a restaurant, bar, etc.

For that reason alone - I would not to move to Georgia.

Wow. that is pretty crazy. This is the first time hearing this. Eyephone do you have a source link about the new gun law?

gotta love the pro gun laws in Goergia. Unfortunately this will scare away some Korean buyers which is not good for real estate business in Jins Creek. Let's see what kind of lies or spins James will spew out.

The new gun law is a recipe for disaster.
I believe in the right to own a gun, but not bringing a gun to schools, parks, etc.
Unfortunately, some tragic/major event will change the gun law.

It actually might be quite opposite. In the last shooting incident in WA, the shooter was subdued by a student who used the pepper spay, while the shooter reloaded his shotgun. The student broke the regulations carrying the pepper spray can at college (gun free zone), but saved many lives. If he had a real gun, he wouldn't have to wait till the shooter is out of ammo, rather could shoot him on the spot. So, you statement is controversial at the very least.

The vast majority of the recent tragic events happened in gun free zones, where the law abiding citizens were not allowed to carry any self-defense tools (guns, knives, pepper spay, stun guns, shockers, etc) It's like a haven for any psycho after a few joints of weed.

What's wrong with it, if you are a law abiding legal owner?

Mostly suicides, which would have happened by any other mean anyway. If someone really set their mind to end the life, he/she will do it no matter what.
Add those cases, when an armed home owner was protecting his family against robbery/assault (especially in shitty areas, which police avoid patrolling after dusk).
Add criminal shootouts, which anyway you can't prevent by any laws passed

What's left on your statistics?

Could your facts possibly be more wrong?
20-30 "mostly suicide" gun incidents a day?
police don't patrol "shitty areas"?
"criminal shootouts"?

jeez, its one thing to think you have the right to take guns in schools, bars, parks, churches, etc...but another to make up "facts" to support your opinion

Suicides are ruled out. If you are on the heat, you'll find a way to open your veins anyway.
So, out of your statistics, how many gun related death incidents are really from the violence department (not justified self-defense situations, not suicides)? Just wondering what number of real crimes we are talking about
