So a lot of listings in Northwood and Woodbridge mentions this builder, were they pretty reputable?  Most homes were built in the early to mid 80s, one trademark I noticed is the multi level living room and sunken dining room setup.  Are they still around?  Do we have any current builders that would be worthy of a mention in listings 20 years from now?

I think they got bought out in the mid 90s... Google seems to indicate Capital Pacific.

They do have nice floorplans... very functional... they were like the "luxury" builders because they built the bigger homes (3CWG!!).

As for any current Irvine builders? I like StanPac and some William Lyon products.

I was told some of their designs in Westpark by JM Peters in the '80's won architectural awards.

JM Peters was the Standard Pacific of their day - high quality, well respected. Knock on some of the neighbors doors and see what they thing about living in the home. That's the best testimony you'll find.
