We're on a irvine spectrum food run, this time it's Japanese..

Same owner as Wasa sushi on Jamboree at the marketplace, next to BJs. The location at the spectrum has more Japanese pub food. Not sure if they are Japanese owned or Korean.
Kakuni, braised pork belly with spinach, the taste is there, meat can be a bit more tender to the point it flakes off with a fork, not quite there yet. But it got the right combo of taste, the yellow dab on top is spicy mustard.
Yakitori, or as they call it leg meat with green onion, not bad, seasoned well, meat a bit dry, Honda Ya's version is still my favorite.
Happy hour is $4 for rolls and small plates, $9 for a pitcher of Sapporo draft, not bad for the price but wish it was Kirin draft instead. Service was ok, they take reservations. Gonna try the udon next time.
