So who buys lunch at school?  $3 for a hot lunch seems decent, any feedback from parents?  My daughter is kinda picky, likes carbs like most kids.  Maybe broccoli once in awhile.  Packing lunchables will be a thing of the past!

The only con is having to wait in line and if your class gets out later... sometimes they run out of the popular item for that day.

One of my kids prefers to pack their lunch as they don't like "wasting" their lunch in line, and another only likes to buy lunch because it's hot (or warm).

Ok loaded up at myschoolbucks for $100, my kid better like school lunches.  Looks like corn dogs for lunch tomorrow.

I remember my school lunches were like $1, now it's $3

The only school lunch worth eating was the pizza hut they'd bring in once a month for like 1.50.  Everything else was awful until you got at least to middle-school.

Pizza Day is Papa Johns now.

And yes, there are Pick-Up Stix days too... those are the popular ones because well... FCB reasons.

Hmmm.. this cafeteria lunch thing might not work out.  Logged in to myschoolbucks and showed my daughter bought her lunch at 12:13pm, that means she only had 12 minutes to eat.  I'm thinking she didn't eat the majority of her food since she is a slow eater.  How do you get kids to eat faster?

The first few days/weeks, lunch lines are long... after a while it gets better.

Also, some teachers have incentives to be dismissed to lunch early so you can get in line and get your food faster (like if you did all your homework the previous day).

Does your school do lunch before or after play? I remember one year they switched lunch around where the kids play first and then have lunch because it was easier for them to transition to class since they were already calmed down.
