Beside the possibilities of better teacher/student ratios, CV elementary is getting an veteran school principle.  The current principal at Canyon View Elementary School will be Cypress Village Elementary's first principal this coming fall.  http://newsflash.iusd.org/category/cypress-village-elementary-school/
 
Finished the online portion, now need to bring the required docs to the school.  This is taking longer than I thought.

Interesting you were able to get online registration done that early, I tried last night and had problem in one of the form, which they finally fixed early this morning and I was able to complete the registration.

Does anyone have experience on Stonegate Kindergarten enrollment? School told us they don't know if we can get in but won't tell us when we will know the answer for sure. Any idea how the process goes, and in case of over-enrollment how (and when) do they decide which student to take?
 
I enrolled with no problems, got a call from my school this morning confirming they have received my pre-reg, can bring in my docs anytime, no appt necessary. 

As for Stonegate elem, someone else mentioned that they will be kicking out the non-residents soon, but if you don't get in, I would go for Cypress Village, hear from the principal they will be getting iPads for the students there!  Your Mello Roos hard at work.

iPads for the students or BOYD?  Either way ... It's my kids dream come true ... Any excuse to be on an iPad.
