I have a random OT question. For those of you that live in the Village, how was your AT&T;cell phone reception? I'm 90% going to move there soon and was going to switch to, of course, the iPhone 3G. Was AT&T;in general "good enough"? We all know AT&T;stinks in OC, but I'm hoping Spectrum would be one of the good spots. Thanks!

My reception is horrible at best in the Del Rey building 2nd floor with ATT.

I just switched to AT&T;for the new iPhone and the reception is pretty mediocre. It is an incredible phone though and if you don't make a ton of calls then I think it is a great phone.

It's mediocre for me as well. I get perfect 3G within 6 foot of outside wall...and about 12' of gsm. I think our cell tower is on top of the double tree....we need to get one more and it will be perfect. In the old days cingular use to take addresses that gave you problems...not sure if they do or not any more....it's all automated with SNR polling. ...but a call wouldn't hurt.

Just get a VoIP phone from AT&T;instead. It's cheap and awesome.

AT&T;service at my place is very spotty unless u are next to the window. I get reception on the patio though. Both of us are using Iphones (pre-3g) and our friends with various other at&t;phones have problems with reception as well.
