Irvine teachers work to bridge the cultural gap

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Given all the talks on this forum, I'd have thought the below stat would have been higher (especially the change over the last 10 years).

The number of Irvine Unified students who identify themselves as Chinese has risen to 5,329 in academic year 2015-16 from 2,973 in 2005-06. They account for 16.4 percent of the total student population, compared with 11.7 percent a decade ago, according to the district.

On TI we are taking about the trend.

Yeah - I just assumed based upon all the talk of these massive percents buying up new homes, you'd have seen the trend line increase by more than 5% in 10 years.

The percentages cited in the article is the district overall.  At some schools, like Cypress Village or Stonegate, the % should be closer to 99%.
