Irvine Co. moves forward with apartments

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
As I've mentioned before, PS will have a far more "central" feel to it when future villages have been built out.

When I met with Panda and Mayor Kang a while back, we were able to view the full plan on a good-sized scale model storyboard.  We will see how close to plan the reality ends up being.

They are building a new elementary school inside Cypress village, so there will be no impact on Woodbury elementary.

If this is Jeffrey Trail, then it's a middle school.

Please see the above link, a elementary school in the middle of Cypress Village, with several park around it.

I've said this 4 years ago on IHB... and I will say it again... If I were to buy in Irvine, I would only buy in Portola Springs. So when are 30 year mortgage rates going to be at 7% so that home prices in Irvine get down to par with inflation?  :D

Northwood HS > University HS for the BEST High School in Irvine.

The first thing a KorChindian buyer tells an Irvine agent today is the following:

"I want a home in the Northwood HS school cluster" or "I want a home in the Uni High School cluster."
This before asking about the type and spec of the home they are looking for. :)

You have the arrows going in the wrong direction.

Yup, I've had a few buyers like that.  That's why I'm putting my money where my mouth is by buying in Portola Springs.

Trojan, when mortgage rates rise to 7%, I will join you. Looking for a nice winter get away vacation home right in Portola Spings :)

The stock market has been kind to me the past 12 months so I can handle being down some equity.  Maybe we can be neighbors at Las Ventanas.  ;)

If gas prices hit $6 PS will become a ghost town.  If not the traffic jam on Sand Canyon will make PS a ghost town.  Either way PS is a loser.
