Irvine back in the news

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
I saw the Channel 7 news. Most news last 30 seconds while this one lasted almost 2-1/2 minutes. The princess lives on an apartment in Central Park West. What is there to do for the multiple slaves in a tiny place? Did the cops find red towels?

A full time nanny in USA is about $2500/month.
A full time nanny in foreign country is about $500 ~ 800/month.

So you have foreigners bringing their Filipino nanny's from their home countries still expecting to pay the $800/month.  The nanny is now in the USA and therefore given protection under US labor laws.  The slave owners don't tell their slaves, but once in awhile we see one escape.

WTF is wrong with people today. First that Egyptian girl held in a Irvine garage as a slave ( http://www.ocregister.com/articles/girl-32024-egypt-ibrahim.html ) and now this. Irvine is becoming a magnet for some seriously screwed up foreigners.

That Egyptian girl is a survivor. She got to stay in the US and became a naturalized citizen. She learned English, graduated from high school and is going to college.http://www.scholastic.com/scopemagazine/PDFs/SCOPE-090312-Nonfiction.pdfhttp://articles.latimes.com/2011/dec/16/local/la-me-1216-shyima-hall-20111216

She was rescued because a neighbor noticed that she wasn't going to school and called the police.

She did not only outsmart the system she cut in front of the line in obtaining US citizenship. From the article "For now, Hall is living in Beaumont in Riverside County and working at the Cabazon outlets as a store supervisor. She's deciding whether to go back to college to finish a degree" I think she also conducts classes to teach Mainlanders from tour buses a new method to obtaining citizenship. The newest trend for Maolander : slave subjected to living in a one room house.

That wouldn't work because you would still need a patsy slave owner to take the fall once the slave is freed.  If you are deported can you still come back to the USA?

I am sure if one is paid a lot and also an American citizen who is not subjected to deportation would love a suitcaseful of cash to buy his family a lovely irvine home. Very few would get jail time. Probation at best with fine and restitution ( pay for by clients). The worst case is doing laundry inside the Irvine honor farm.
