Never too early for the next iPhone rumors. I hope it's like this:

So one of the rumors is it will just be a 5S... but in different colors like the 5th gen iPod Touch.

There is also talk of different screen sizes and an iPhone mini. I hope they come out with an iPhone XL (like a 4.5" screen).

As much as I love my iPhone 5, Apple really needs to start innovating beyond: thinner and new colors. There hasn't been that WOW factor for quite some time. Yes I am an Apple Sheeple and bought the Mini as well but again--no WOW factor beyond form. Other manufactures seem to work harder at it and come up with better ideas. I am trapped in the Walled Garden for now and hoping for something different.
 
I think a bigger screened iPhone will help with that.

Since phablets have become a hot niche and most of the premium Android phones have screens 4.5+ inches, it would do Apple well to cater to a crowd that likes bigger screens. That will also help them create longer battery life.

I like the 4" iPhone form factor... and regardless of what Apple does this year with the 6 or 5S... I'll probably get one because they are dependable and the iOS ecosystem has advantages over Android (and yes, my other Android phone still has issues).
 
So anyone excited to see what the new Galaxy S4 is going to look like?

Seems like Samsung's Galaxy S and Note series is getting just as much hype as Apple's iPhones.

It might be hard for me to hold off getting an S4 and waiting for the iPhone 5S or 6.

Really, a 5S?  That's not great considering the 5 was basically a 4SS.

Uh... the 5 had a change in screen size, form factor, design and screen resolution... S changes are usually only internal.

When I think about it, while the nerd in me wants to see a change every year, the product manager/marketer in me thinks it's actually a good thing to have product form factor last 2 years. It keeps accessories on the shelf longer and provides a good secondary market when you do have a series change.

A biometric scanner would be great if they enable NFC/iWallet. It could also help break my kids addiction to Angry Birds  ;)
