Hi, is anyone using Instant Hot Water system at your house with RO system. I've heard that they are not compatible, and this is what the company said:
" I can tell you that RO Systems can produce very low water flow rates so if you decide to use a RO System with our hot water dispenser, it is required that the RO System maintains a constant water pressure of 30 PSI. If it goes below 30 PSI, the faucet will drip.
Additionally, you should be aware that RO Systems produce highly purified water which makes the water very "aggressive" which is why RO faucets are generally made of plastic. Our dispenser faucets are brass."

What do you think? Does it shorten the lifespan of the instant hot water system? I'm planning to get Kinetico K5 RO system with their premier water softener.

Kinetico is very over priced, full of marketing and sales crap.

You just need RO on your kitchen sink. You don't want it for the full house because you need chlorine to  sanitize your indoor plumbing system.
