impact of Allergan and Broadcom layoffs to irvine real estate

There is lot of tech crowd buying houses in Irvine. Just wondering on what would be the impact of Allergan , Socal Edison recent layoffs and potential layoffs at Broadcom to Irvine real estate.
 
Probably see some for sale signs, and with interest rates rising, you expect a price drop, but then, foreign investors will just swoop right in
 
Add Emulex to that list.

Also, you have to consider the jobs those companies create.
Such as:  supply vendors, restaurants, etc
 
There's always foreigner cash buyers to maintain the values of houses. Irvine has got some good reputation among rich Chinese

used to have good reputation...  but now....  :)

i am very curious how good will beacon park sell..
