[IHB] Attached or Detached?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Since these type of homes are usually ?starter? homes? I would purchase keeping in mind which would be easier to sell in the future.

The inside decor can be changed, location and detached/attached cannot.

Do one of these back the toll road? It?s hard to tell from the map.

I would go with the detached, but location would have to be factored in too.

(lazy copy post :) )

I agree, if both were standard sales, I would go with the detached. The interior can always be spruced up.
But what about short sale vs standard sale? Which one would you go for?

I have the patience and time for a short sale... not sure if I have that for the shenanigans that sometime may go along with it. :)

I recently went through this decision, and decided to pay more than my original price range to go detached. I found there was also a difference in quality with the floor plans as well that came with the higher price range.

Once USC educated me on what was available, there was no question in my mind that we HAD to go detached. If my financial options were more limited, I would have considered attached, as long as there was an emphasis on privacy. I like being able to come home at night and night and not have to wake the neighbors up. I've already had to come home several nights at weird hours so like being able to go inside without causing a racket.
