OC Night Market at OC Fairgrounds (the largest of the three venues) runs the weekend of May 9 to 11. Hours are 3 p.m to midnight on Friday/Saturday and from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Admission costs $5 and parking is an extra $7.

Pretty steep admission prices but it appears to be awesome.  The Vietnamese version over at GG was pretty disappointing.

I doubt this would be successful by moving the venue away from the (626).

I haven't been to the one in the 626, but when I went to the one in Garden Grove, it was a nice try, but it's hard to replicate an experience that took years to develop in other countries.

Also, one of the draws to Taipei's night markets are the prices and variances of food, inexpensive clothing items taken by luggage from Korea, etc. 

I might have to check it out.
