I have yet another NEW ZIP REALTY PERSON...



I subscribe to the updates from Zip Realty... and I swear I think this is the third or forth agent that has contacted me to introduce themselves as my new contact since I set up the updates last year!



Funny thing is I really don't like zip realty, since you always have to "sign in" just to view a property... :roll:

Weird... I have had the same ugly mug for two years now. Well, at least he stopped calling me about a year and half ago. I still use them though. For some reason I can't find some of the same properties on RedFin as easily as I can on Zip, but RedFin is much better IMO.
 
I just take the address listed on the property they email me on zip and load it into redfin... I can never remember my log in on zip... and I remember someone on here saying they track which properties you look at, and how many times on zip...
 
I have similar issues with zip. I'm only on my 2nd agent though. :-)



I use zip to search, and then I copy/paste the MLS number into redfin to get the rest of the info I want and/or post about the property.
 
ZIP Realty agents are the 'high school dropouts' of the realtor world.



They are unable to survive in the current environment themselves, and turn to their enemy for work.



The pay they recieve there is MUCH less, and they find that they DO NOT close more homes (which they would need to in order to compensate), so they leave. High turnover business.



A realtor I know went to one of their recruiting meetings in OC recently. They people who showed up looked like they literally walked from their job at the carwash to the meeting... Probably not who I would want representing me (and responsible for the legal paperwork, disclosures, etc...) on my large transaction!

I have the same Zip realtor since I signed up, and she has been very responsive. I am not familiar with Redfin's e-mail alerts, but I like Zips, they tell me the relative interest in a property and alert me whenever there is a price change, etc.
