How long have you been in your current home?  We've been in ours for about 9 years although strangely, it doesn't feel like it has been that long.
 
2 stints that spans about 9 years.

We've been here for about 3 and I can't believe we're still here.

I'm jealous of this poll... it's a great question.
 
Been living here "West Irvine" since 1999 and I am still happy with the neighborhood.

My only regret is not buying a few more homes when prices were in the high 300K for a single family homes.

But greed will kill us in the end right?  :-X

hahahaha... how will greed kill us when the rich get richer and the poor get poorer simply because we know the art of diversification and accumulation vs the poor who put all their eggs in one basket (ie primary residence = their only asset)?

that is unless jerry brown decides to pull some eminent domain crap... hmmmmm.... lol
 
Close to four years. Its the longest ever we have stayed at one place. Not that we didn't try to get out though. Came close to selling at one point after two years but work stress made us drop the idea after initial realtor consultation. Let's see what future holds.. But I am not comfortable buying a 700k 4 bedroom house.. We won't need that space, but we might find a better use for the money :)
