How do you want Irvine to look in 2035?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
They lost me at "survey".

I want to have uber drone service on call and affordable. It can pick me up and off from work to costco to soccer field to home and all around.

Will anything be done is the question.

I mean all the focus groups and surveys from new home constructions never mentioned people wanting smaller yards, driveways, higher Mello Roos and disappearing coat closets...

Disappearing coat closets, it's scandalous.

I'd like a kbbq truck on every corner, if possible.
+1

This you can do yourself no brainer:  buy boneless short rib marinaded from Hmart/Zion, let meat warm up a bit, start your charcoal grill outside, make sure the grill has small gaps so you don't lose the meat, throw pieces of short rib on said grill, add some soaked wood chips for more flavor, close the lid for a few minutes, walk away, throw some corn tortillas on a low heat pan, check the meat pieces, flip them over, close lid again, a few more minutes, take them off grill, rest a bit, cut them up into little pieces, scoop into corn tortillas, add toppings (mango, salsa, cucumber slices, etc.), and munch away.  Easy for parties, and whatever leftovers, it's perfect for lunch and the envy of your coworkers. :)

I'll probably be ashes by 2035.

So how about by 2025?

1. Golden Corral or Hometown Buffet (good reasons why I won't be around by 2035).
2. Return of the 3CWG (or better yet 4CWG)
3. Great Park (hehe)
4. Good Italian Restaurant
5. Good/cheap Mexican Restaurant

I do agree with better public transpo though.

Why wait for 2025. It's just a 5 minute drive to Santa Ana and you will find all of your wishes today! As a consolation prize I am working on plans to reflect your loft overlooking a "oh my god" volume space.

IHS we need a 400+ sq ft loft in a sub $1.3M home.  I know you can do it!
The 400+ sq ft loft will be on the fifth floor.  Sorry no elevator (non commercial elevators have 4 story limit).

The elevator is not the issue. The 4th floor triggers an exiting issue on the building code that mandates a second exit. No builder will build a second stairs just for exiting. The 5th floor triggers the use of metal studs and other cost prohibitive construction methods.
