How come Columbus Grove is not listed on irvineranch.com?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Some people buy their homes with an eye towards a certain targeted school, for example, University High is highly desirable. When boundaries are redrawn, the home school may change. I am not aware if the redrawing may affect interdistrict Tustin/ Irvine.

Because that area isn't being developed by The Irvine Company, which owns www.irvineranch.com. It's a joint project of Lennar and William Lyon, who bought the land from the Navy. It will be the same with anything built at old El Toro NAS as well.

Though there are some comings when Irvine Company are so dominant in irvine in terms of residential and commercial developments, largely I believe Irvine company has done the best job in terms of creating residential development. They understand how to balance housing with the shops, etc. The great example is Ladera Ranch. I believe Mission Viejo did a good job of developing housing, but had no clue how to integrate the shopping areas.

No sure if any one here know why Irvine Company didn't win the land development rights at the now Columbus Grove or why they didn't either win or bid the El Toro NAS?
