High Speed Chase Ends in Portola Springs

There's nothing in the OC Register yet that I see but there was some activity in Portola Springs last night. It looked like cop cars had our complex surrounded. Ghetto bird circling. The pajama and bathrobe-clad mob gathered outside to watch. The rumor was a high speed chase ended on Portola Springs Rd. near Portola Parkway. We are zombies this morning. Couldn't sleep with the noise and lights. The chopper didn't leave until midnight after the perp was caught.

Can't believe she refused to get out of the car. She was so outnumbered. They were right outside our window. Mr. SoCal was saying maybe she wet herself and was too embarrassed to come out. I say maybe she wanted to fix her makeup first, knowing she would be on camera. Got to look good for that headshot... err... mugshot. That's the only reason I can think of that I wouldn't get out of the car upon command of armed police. (Semi-kidding.) That's the gate I always use to come home and it is hard to open. Guess that was a good thing. They really should have moved the mob watching from inside.... what if she had rammed it or blown her brains out. Anyway, glad everything turned out okay in our little peaceful, remote section of the world.

So does that woman live in your apt complex? She was just trying to get home and those pesky IPD stopped her! They probably thought she was from Santa Ana and were about to shoot on sight.
