Hidden Canyon and Laguna Crossing

Yes, eventually, in one form or another. They were announced before market conditions started to crater, and were subsequently delayed. Good thing too, because my company leases some acreage from TIC adjacent to Wild Rivers. There were actually a lot of stories a year or two ago about Wild Rivers and how they were going to have to close due to the development...but I think they might evade the axe for a few years yet!

If we told you, then it wouldn't remain hidden...

It is suppose to be next to Laguna Crossing near Laguna Canyon Road on your way to Laguna Beach.

I guess it will be a few years before they are build :-)

Anyone know what the highrise buildings are to the left of the 133 after passing Laguna Crossing/Hidden Canyon going towards Laguna Beach? It was a surprise to see a couple of highrises standing by themselves in that area of rolling hills.

Those do stick out when driving the 133 West.

And you cant see them from El Toro very well so your not familiar with them.

Answer is.

The Towers at the Village.

Update:

Looks like we have some Grading Equipment activity in Laguna Crossing.

Yesterday morning it was just a single grader. This morning its multiple and they were putting in the water tank for dust suppression. Either they are just getting rid of the overgrowth or maybe they are finally going to start construction ?

First time I hear about hidden canyon, will this be developped with Laguna Crossing or only after?

With some development to be finalized in Woodbury, Woodbury West, Portola Springs, and at some point Orchad Hills, I think Irvine residents will have plenty of options in the years to come.

They need to re-start now to get the buzz going into 2011. By 2013+, the later phases will be commanding their desired price points.

I can't wait... but based on the area, it doesn't look like they can fit any 3-car wide garage plans over there.
