[quote author="irvine_home_owner" date=1236412849]Well they are exponentially better than the original xBs... I don't know how anyone thought driving a go-cart would be cool... but sales figures proved otherwise.
The design of the new xB is still unique but it doesn't look so box-like... which probably takes away from it's Slim Shadiness.

A lot of "Toaster" Owners complained when they stopped making them, I think the younger Owners thought they were cool but the Older ones bought them for their reliability, economy and utility, after all, they can carry 4 People easily...
I was driving an XJR and decided I wanted something economical to carry my Bike so I bought a 1st Generation xB and absolutely loved it, they felt much bigger than they actually were and it would do 85 all day long with no problem, it just needed a Calendar to measure zero to 60. Then by accident I bought the 2nd gen and it's been awesome.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind an XFR but can't justify buying another Jag. If my first name was Shiek it might be a different story...
Scion were surprized because they aimed at the younger demographic but in fact it turned out that the majority of Customers were in the 40something range.
If you think the Toaster was fuggly, take a look at the Nissan Cube which should be coming out around about now, word has it, if you rub them on the Carpet fast enough they go really fast, but who knows?
