IUSD is overrated by marketeers and ultimate exploitation to jack up home prices. I interact with city jurisdiction where these schools are located on my regular basis. Top colleges recruit heavily from here. Home prices in the vicinities are much more affordable where kids learning is based on team work and not cut throat like Irvine where parents dish out extra money for commercial tutoring. In this sort of competitive envionment kids learn early to be selfish, ruthless, to cheat and other bad behavior to achieve top grades.
