Hardwood Floors

Our hardwood floors are finished with oil, does anybody on the board have someone they can recommend to come by and refinish them or re-oil them.

Or does anyone know a website where I can go for a DIY.

homer, Congrats on your home. Last time I heard you were in escrow.

We have hardwood floors too, but we have not done anything with them (except sweeping with broom) since we moved-in 2 months ago.

Any quick tips on how to maintain/clean them?

We use Bona Floor cleaner for our engineered hardwood floors.  Seems to work pretty well.

Use a swiffer, that works very well to pick up the dust from the hard wood floors.

I called the place Anvin recommended and  they told me to swiffer the floors if they are dirty.  I think they also recommended me to use some tungsen oil to refinish them if I were to go that route and do the job myself. 

They said they would charge around 250-500 to refinish/reoil the floors.

wow can't believe it's been a year since I've had my floors reoiled. 

Does anyone know where I can find Tung Oil locally?
